The Apple Ecosystem is a vast, profound, and sometimes confusing place to wander into. It isn’t something physical that you can buy when you walk into your nearest Machines store. Rather, it is something forged from years of development and hard work. The ecosystem isn’t centered around a single Apple device, but multiple Apple devices that when used together, creates this beautifully integrated piece of technological advancement that no other company has been able to yet replicate.

One of the most popular and well-known mobile devices in the world, the iPhone, is a brilliant piece of technology that works perfectly well independently, but works even better with other Apple devices. Apple has developed the most practical operating system (OS) in the iPhone, the iOS that links seamlessly with other Apple products like the MacBook and iPad with their own macOS and iPadOS respectively. This allows Cloud storage, notes, photos, and messages to synchronise easily between devices, provided they have the same Apple ID. This continuity feature that enables seamless interaction is the heart of the Apple Ecosystem.

Examples of this seamlessness can be simplified with a simple phone call or text message. A phone on your iPhone will automatically be received by all other Apple devices at exactly same time, even on your AppleWatch or AirPods. This means you can pick up a call on your MacBook when your phone is away. Exclusive features such as AirDrop and SharePlay are Apple’s version of a quicker Bluetooth for its devices. One of Apple’s newest feature that takes advantage of the Apple Ecosystem is Universal Control. By simply having an iPad or iPhone beside your MacBook, you can seamlessly drag files from your laptop to your iPad using your mouse. It is a quick transfer unlike any other.

The Apple Ecosystem is like a walled garden, where everything outside it is bland and colourless when compared. This beautiful constructed garden has mesmerized its consumers into wanting only the flowers in this garden and nothing outside it. All you need is a couple of Apple devices to get started. As soon as you delve into this ecosystem, it becomes captivating to delve deeper into it by purchasing even more Apple products to acquire the ‘complete set’. This seamlessness and streamline ecosystem that is superior to any other tech giant out there has led Apple to become the number one consumer friendly technology company in the world.
